Help support pediatric cancer research.

The American Cancer Society takes a comprehensive approach to supporting those affected by childhood cancer by funding research, advocating for government policies that improve access to quality care for all children, and providing trusted information, guidance, and support for patients and their families.

100% of your donation to this year's Coaches vs. Cancer Kansas City Season Tipoff will be directed to pediatric cancer research to support those critical questions about childhood cancer: what causes it, how can it be detected and treated successfully, and how to improve the quality of life for patients, survivors, and their families, when they?re getting care as a patient and growing up as a survivor.

2021 Norm Stewart Legacy Award Recipient, Reggie Minton

A note from our Chairs...

We hope you will join us for a wonderful evening as we continue the mission of the American Cancer Society, raise funds for pediatric cancer research and pay tribute to this year's Norm Stewart Legacy Award Recipient, Reggie Minton. Check out this invitation for more details and if you would like to purchase tickets to the event please follow the prompts above.

Every dollar donated to this year's Coaches vs Cancer KC Season Tipoff will be directed to pediatric cancer research. Childhood cancer is the leading disease-related cause of death for children and adolescents ages 1 to 19, and 1 in 266 children and adolescents will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20. ACS takes a comprehensive approach to supporting those affected by childhood cancer by funding research, advocating for government policies that improve access to quality care for all children, and providing trusted information, guidance, and support for patients and their families.  Please consider making a donation in honor of Reggie Minton and all of the children and families who are impacted by cancer each year.

We want to thank you for your continued support again this year, and look forward to hosting you on Wednesday, September 29 outdoors at Hy-Vee Arena!  Please know that the safety of participants, volunteers, cancer survivors, and staff is always our top priority.
